NEW IBERIA – South Louisiana Community College is hosting a Town Hall meeting at its New Iberia campus on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

The purpose is to discuss innovative ways the community college can partner with Iberia Parish businesses and residents to meet the needs of the community.

"The community college's program offerings are continually evaluated to make sure we are meeting the needs of industry. We want to meet with parish leaders and business partners to find ways to work together and make sure our graduates are filling workforce demands," said Willie Smith, SLCC's vice chancellor of Economic and Workforce Development.

SLCC Chancellor Dr. Natalie Harder will also give a campus update during the meeting.

The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. at the New Iberia campus located at 908 Ember Drive. For more information about this Town Hall meeting, please call (337) 521- 9032.
