Acadia Parish ordinance targets saggy pants

Posted: Updated:

It's a controversial ordinance that has been called unconstitutional and a means for racial profiling. The saggy pants ordinance targets individuals who willingly show their underwear in public and this time it's up for debate in Acadia Parish.

A few months ago, a similar ordinance passed in Vermillion Parish. Police Jury members AJ Creduer and Dale Trahan introduced the ordinance last week.
