High Tech Components, a Frank's International Company, received special recognition from Congressman Charles Boustany Monday.

The visit comes in the wake of the company winning the 2013 Lantern Award, recognizing their devotion to training and education excellence for employees thereby impacting future economic development for the Acadiana area.

General Manager Joseph Lerouge says, that's what the company prides itself on.

"In order to provide the employees that we need, we have to go through something as far as training and that's something we really take pride on. Is taking people that have a desire to learn a trade and train them." said Lerouge

Recipients of the awards are selected on the basis of their contributions over a period of time to the betterment of their communities, growth in the number of employees and expansion of facilities.
