This week marked a new beginning for the Acadiana Center for the Arts (ACA) and the Performing Arts Society of Acadiana (PASA) as they officially became one organization.
It was last month the two organizations announced they would be joining forces, in hopes combining programs would increase their efficiency in the community and avoid any duplication of services. Over the past week, PASA has been moving into their new office space inside the ACA building, but not everything will be changing.
According to ACA Director of Finance Vicki Chrisman Pasa will maintain their logo and brand in relation to their programing, but as far as staff and who is running everything that will all be under the ACA.
The ACA and PASA will merge websites later this summer and performances put on by PASA will still be held at the Heymann center.
