Administrators at the Early Learning Center in St.Martinville say they're disappointed after their school was broken into, not once, but twice, in two weeks.

During the first burglary, thieves stole a lap-top, five digital cameras and two I-pads while breaking eleven windows. During the second break-in, thieves got into the office and took money intended for an end of the year school party.

According to Superintendent of St. Martin Parish Schools Richard Lavergne security cameras did get picture of the person from the first break-in and it was given to police. At this time they believe it was an inside job because the person knew exactly where to go and where to look.

But through the bad comes good, Superintendent Lavergne says Mr. Paul Duhon with St. Martin Bank and Mr. Nicholson with St. Martin Tile have graciously donated money, replacing what was stolen.

But not just the amount taken, the two individuals replaced it with even more money, ensuring the kids have an even better end of the year party. St.Martinville police are still investigating the break-ins and ask if you know anything about the incidents to call them at 337-394 3001.
