3 Arrests Made in New Iberia Shooting

Three people have been arrested in connection with a shooting in New Iberia Monday afternoon.

23-year-old Donald Boatman of New Iberia is charged with three counts of attempted second degree murder, illegal carrying of a firearm in a school zone and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

31-year-old Kendal Ledet of New Iberia was arrested and charged with three counts of second degree attempted murder and resisting arrest by violence.

Iberia Parish sheriff deputies say a 16-year-old male of New Iberia was also arrested for his involvement in the incident. The male has been charged with three counts of attempted second degree murder.

Authorities believe the three men are the alleged shooters who wounded three people Monday afternoon at the intersections of Rene and Anderson Streets.
