Former Congressman Jeff Landry, a tea party favorite who lost re-election in 2012 to Rep. Charles Boustany Jr. (R-LA), has launched a new super PAC that aims to elect hard-core conservatives to Congress.
Restore our Republic PAC will support candidates who will fight for individual liberty, economic freedom and traditional values. Some of the policies listed on the Restore our Republic's website includes cut government spending, lower taxes and protect life.
"Restore our Republic will look for freedom-loving candidates who have the courage and conviction to stand up for conservative principles even when the pressure is great." Landry says.
Landry also has support from several House conservatives.
"Restore our Republic is positioned to elect conservatives who are willing to put it all on the line, fighting for a future of opportunity and prosperity that can only be found in America. The greatness of tomorrow, of our republic, is worth the cost." said Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA)
The super PAC identifies itself as a grassroots conservative organization dedicated to restoring the republican form of government established by our founders.
