A new audit says the Louisiana Recovery School District has lost track of more than 2 million dollars in property. According to the audit, more than 1600 items such as computers and equipment have been missing for four years. The audit says RSD schools haven't had proper accountability standards for monitoring the equipment. Officials for the RSD say that 70 percent of the items listed as missing have incorrect location codes, but are still present in schools. The audit was done by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor's Office.
