Business Robbed at Gunpoint - Acadiana's Multi-Media News Station

Lafayette, LA – On March 18, 2013, at approximately 9:15 pm, Lafayette Police responded to the 400 block of Bertrand Drive regarding an armed robbery of a business. Employees stated that 2 black males wearing Halloween mask entered the store armed with handguns and demanding money. Employees cooperated and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then fled the store in an unknown direction.

One of the employees was treated for minor injuries. Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspects to contact Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
