PHOENIX, March 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Launching today, the Health & Wealth Raffle, benefiting Barrow Neurological Institute & St. Joseph's Hospital, is back this spring with a new look, more prize drawings, and new, once-in-a-lifetime experience packages.
"For the Raffle's 10th anniversary, we've refreshed the Raffle, and it's better for the players, hospital and our patients who ultimately benefit from our success," said Patty White, President and CEO of St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. One of Arizona's largest fundraisers, the Raffle is a unique gaming fundraiser that provides a fun way for anyone living in, or visiting, Arizona to support Barrow and St. Joseph's while getting a chance to win spectacular prizes. To date, the Raffle has raised more than $50 million for Barrow and St. Joseph's.
Spring 2011 Raffle winner Lloyd Tindell knows the Raffle is fun and supports the amazing work of Barrow and St. Joseph's. In 1984, he lost his wife to a brain aneurysm. Twenty years later, he feared the worst when his second wife was diagnosed with the same condition. Because of medical advancements at Barrow, she was able to make a full recovery.
