DETROIT, March 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- It is with deep regret that Greenspace announces the closing of Janet's Lunch. Structural issues and water damage have forced the City of Grosse Pointe Park to condemn the building.

"This is not only disappointing for the long term West Park plan, but the entire area is losing an iconic establishment," said Jon Cotton. "This is a huge and sadly unavoidable loss to the community. Our desire was to continue the Janet's tradition in its present location."

Greenspace is a Detroit-based development and property management company, focused on revitalization through the renovation and lease of residential properties and development of commercial properties.
