Mc Donald’s Bomb Threat Arrest

New Iberia police Officers responding to a bomb threat at a McDonald's Restaurant arrested Peter Collins (21) and charged him with communicating of false information of planned arson.

Collins was taken in to custody at the restaurant where he made the call directly.

 

 


PRESS RELEASE: Sheriff Louis Ackal advises that on February 28, 2013 at approximately 2:00 p.m. Deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a bomb threat at 927 W. Main Street (McDonald's Restaurant) in reference to a bomb threat. The call was made to the directly to the business. Detectives located the suspect, Peter Collins III DOB 09/21/1992, at the business and took him into custody. Collins cooperated with detectives and was then charged with communicating of false information of planned arson. Collins was then booked into the Iberia Parish Jail.
