Schools in the University of Louisiana System will likely see a 10% tuition increase for the next school year.
Tuesday the University of Louisiana Board of Supervisors approved a 10% tuition hike at all nine of its campuses.
The tuition hikes are a result of the 2010 Grad Act. The law allows colleges to raise tuition up to 10% each year if they meet certain performance goals.
The tuition increase will take effect the fall semester of 2013.
