Lafayette Police Seek McKinley St. Robbery Suspects

On February 24, 2013, at approximately 2:00 am, Lafayette Police responded to the area of 200 McKinley Street regarding the report of multiple robberies.

The suspects are described as two black males, one 5'3" tall with dreadlocks and the other suspect was 5'5" tall wear a red and grey sweater.  

The first victim was walking to his vehicle when the suspects produced a gun and sprayed mace in his face.  Taken from the victim was an undisclosed amount of cash. 

The second victim was robbed after the suspects produced a gun and sprayed mace in his face.  Taken from the victim was cash and jewelry. 

The third victim was in her car when the suspects reached in and grabbed her purse.  The suspects were last seen running on General Mouton. Two victims reported minor injuries.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspects to contact Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
