Giving birth to a healthy baby is every parents dream, but unfortunately, that's not always the case. A lot of times, problems are not detected until after birth. And for decades, babies born with heart defects had almost no chance of survival until now. And thanks to the "fetal echo cardiogram" families are able to detect problems in the womb and come up with a plan of action before it's too late. News 10's Caroline Balchunas met with one local doctor who is helping families early.
