Lake Charles Rape Conviction - Acadiana's Multi-Media News Station

A state judge has found a man guilty of raping a 94-year-old DeQuincy woman in January 2012.

The American Press reports  Judge Ron Ware found 50-year-old Gabe McKeel Jr. guilty of aggravated rape, aggravated burglary and second-degree battery on Thursday. McKeel is to be sentenced March 1.

Prosecutors say McKeel broke into the woman's home while she sat in her bedroom and beat and raped her.
