Renee Allen - Acadiana's Multi-Media News Station

Renee was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh  with a bachelor's degree in Communications. 

Renee moved to Louisiana to start her career in broadcast Journalism, back in 1999.  She has won two Louisiana Associated Press Awards. 

Renee is a true believer that everyone has a story worth telling.  She says she loves Louisiana and everything it represents.  The food, people and culture are a tribute to the place she's proud to call her home. Renee enjoys reading, music and trying to cook (I'm working on it).
