Concern Raised Over SU Board of Supervisors Appointments

Governor Bobby Jindal appointed two members from Lake Charles this month to represent the third Congressional District on the Southern University Board of Supervisors.  Typically the governor appoints a representative from both Lafayette and Lake Charles. District officials and Southern University Alumni from Lafayette met at the Heymann Park Recreation Center Thursday to voice their disapproval.
