Youngsville Sports Complex Preview - Acadiana's Multi-Media News Station

The construction of the 70 acre sports complex in Youngsville is set to begin Tuesday. A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled to take place. The nearly $20 million project is being funded with a 1% sales tax that Youngsville voters approved in November 2011. The project's first phase is expected to be completed in December. It includes 10 tennis courts; six soccer fields; five baseball fields and four softball fields.
