Early this morning, Lonnie Poydras turned himself into police regarding the robbery that occurred Friday in the 100 block of Arnould Boulevard.
According to the victims, Poydras entered the business wearing a hooded sweatshirt with his face covered and demanded money.
An undisclosed amount of cash was given to Poydras and then he fled the scene. Poydras never displayed a weapon, but one of his hands remained in his pocket during the robbery.
Poydras has been booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on a warrant for first degree robbery.
The case remains under investigation.
