Jindal Appoints New Nursing Board Members - Acadiana's Multi-Media News Station

Lafayette, La. (AP) - Governor Bobby Jindal has made two appointments to the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.

The 11-member board oversees training and licensing of registered nurses, and advanced practice registered nurses.

Appointed by the Governor were Laura Bonanno of Mandeville and Demetrius Porche of New Orleans.

Currently Bonanno is a Certified Nurse Anesthetist.

Porche is a Registered Nurse.
