Vehicle Driven Up Guide Wire, Driver Arrested - Acadiana's Multi-Media News Station

Lafayette, LA— On January 15, 2013, at approximately 4:30 am, Lafayette Police responded to the 2700 block of Johnston Street regarding a single vehicle crash.  According to officers at the scene, the driver operating a four door white car lost control for unknown reasons on the roadway and drove onto a utility pole guide wire.  The driver, Gabriel Andrews, Jr. (22) of Lafayette, was rescued from the vehicle by emergency personnel on scene.  Andrews was later arrested and charged with OWI. He was not injured as a result of the crash.
