FEMA named a veteran official to oversee Louisiana and four other states. FEMA announced Tony Robinson will serve as the agency's regional administrator. Robinson previously served as FEMA's region six administrator. Along with Louisiana, he will also oversee Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Robinson has worked for FEMA since 1987. His predecessor, Tony Russell, vacated the position in May 2012 when he was named superintendent of FEMA's Emergency Management Institute
