Hospice Medicare Cuts Update - Acadiana's Multi-Media News Station

Statewide budget cuts will have a drastic effect on Medicaid Hospice patients starting February 1st. Hospice cuts for Medicaid patients are just a few weeks away and hospice officials are gearing up to fight the changes. Governor Bobby Jindal's Administration decided to cut the program to make up for a 166-million dollar deficit. But, some say it may cost the state more in the long-run.
