Police say Leger's Jeep rolled over and came to a rest in the northbound lane where it was then struck by another driver.

Fifty two-year-old "Clint Melancon" of Carencro. Melancon was arrested after a blood-alcohol test determined he was over the legal limit.

He was booked at Lafayette Parish correctional center. Leger was an anchor at KFDM in Beaumont, Texas.
