Inmate found Dead at LPCC - Acadiana's Multi-Media News Station

On Saturday, Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Deputies found an inmate unresponsive in his cell. At about 11:38 that night, 63 year old John Howard was found displaying no signs of life.

Howard had been last checked at 11:10 PM. Howard was in jail since November 29 for disturbing the peace and battery on a police officer.

Howard's death is still being investigated. Investigators do not suspect foul play.
