Hundreds of UL Lafayette students and their families celebrated Saturday during the fall commencement. There were nine ceremonies total in four different venues, but hundreds of smiling graduates. This year, the university brought back an old tradition, the general assembly, where all students were addressed together. They were also recognized by name during the ceremony for their college. During the general commencement, keynote speaker Kohl Crecelius, the CEO and Co-Founder of Krotchet Kids Int. gave words of inspiration to the new graduates. Many students celebrated with friends and family members when it was over.
