Six Lafayette Parish Schools will undergo renovations and improvements within the next couple of years. This comes after school board members approved a 30-million-dollar bond package.
David Thibodaux Stem Magnet Academy will get about 9-million-dollars for building and technology additions.
Green T Lindon Elementary will also receive close to 9-million-dollars to build more classrooms as it deals with severe overcrowding.
Youngsville Middle will get over five million dollars for its own expansions and additional classrooms.
About two million dollars will go to Northside High for projects including chemistry and science labs, window replacement and locker room improvements.
L-J Alleman Middle School will get three million dollars and Lafayette will get about two and a half million dollars.
