Have a brilliant idea for a business on the back burner?
A local program can help nurture that idea into a strong start-up. It's called the Opportunity Machine (OM) and it's aimed at taking your business to the next level.
It offers work space, free voice and data service, a chance to meet with investors and resources you'll need to make your business grow.
The Lafayette Economic Development Authority teamed up with four other organizations. Together, they concentrate on energizing technology in the Hub City for the benefit of not only business owners, but our local economy.
Bob Miller with the Opportunity Machine says taking a start-up from an idea and bringing to commercialization will create jobs locally, pump money into our economy and offer more options for those graduating college.
Miller says the local college is pumping out great people, so why not give them great jobs to choose from. If you'd like more information about the program, you can visit their website at www.opportunitymachine.org.
