It's the end of an era for those who have been shopping at "Hallmark Jewelers" for years. The store is closing its doors after a 43-year-run.
"Maison de Hallmark" has been in the same spot at Northgate Shopping Mall for over four decades.
But it will officially close once it sells out of all its merchandise and in order to do that, the owners decided to have their first sale ever.
The sale started over the weekend and owners Ison and Eva Fontenot say it's definitely brought in larger-than-normal crowds.
And because they've been there for so long, they're preparing for an emotional goodbye. Fontenot says the decision was tough, but it's time for he and his wife, who are in their 80's to close up shop
"It's a terrible decision, took us a long time to arrive at that. It's like falling off a cliff, we've worked 7-days a week."
Besides regular customers, Hallmark's is seeing the early-bird Christmas shoppers coming in take part in this one of a kind sale.
