ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - Louisiana State University at Alexandria Chancellor David Manuel will learn this week whether he will be selected as president of Drury University. In Missouri
The Town Talk reports (http://townta.lk/VDeNRZ ) Manuel and David Steele, dean of the College of Business at San Jose State, in California, are the two finalists for the job at Drury.
Drury is a private liberal arts college with a total enrollment of about 4,000 students. It was founded in 1873 and has been ranked by several publications as among the best liberal arts schools in the Midwest.
Manuel has been chancellor at LSUA since March 2008. He succeeded Robert Cavanaugh.
Todd Parnell, a former banker, has been Drury's president since June 2007. He plans to retire in May.
