Prospective college students and their parents can learn about UL Lafayette and other Louisiana universities at Parent's Night on Monday, Oct. 29. The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Earl K. Long Gymnasium on UL Lafayette's campus. It's especially targeted for high school juniors and seniors in Lafayette, Iberia, St. Martin, St. Landry, Acadia and Vermilion parishes. Parent's Night will provide information about college selection and admission processes. Participants can also learn about financial aid and scholarships, including TOPS, the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students. Students and parents will have a chance to talk to representatives of colleges and universities from across the state, as well as UL Lafayette.
