JHS Bomb Threat Update


Deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office and Iberia Parish Fire District have cleared the Jeanerette Senior High School and found no threat to students and faculty.  Detectives with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office are now attempting to Identify the suspect who called in the bomb threat to the school.  



Jeanerette Sr. High School Bomb Threat

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office was notified by Staff at Jeanerette Sr. High School shortly after 10:00 a.m. on October 19, 2012 that an unknown person had phoned in a bomb threat at the High School.

Deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office along with the Iberia Parish Fire District are on scene assessing the situation. Students have been evacuated from the building as firefighters and deputies are presently conducting a search.
