Federal health care reform is at the center of a lawsuit led by two Baptist Universities in Texas.

A victory in court would impact Louisiana. The schools are fighting a mandate in the Affordable Care Act. It requires insurance plans to cover birth control costs.

The universities say it violates the First Amendment's Freedom of Religion Clause. If they win, it would cover religious institutions in the US 5th Circuit, which includes Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi.
