18 Wheeler's Lost Payload Strikes Motorcyclist - Acadiana's Multi-Media News Station

On October 10, 2012, at 15:47 hours, the City of Rayne Police Department responded to an accident on Eastbound Interstate 10 at the Rayne exit.  The investigation determined that a 18 Wheeler hauling tarps, lost one of it's payload, which a motorcycle struck, causing the driver to loose control. Another vehicle also struck the tarp, but maintained control.  The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries.
