LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) - A 26-year-old Lake Charles woman has pleaded not guilty to causing the deaths of two people in an April car crash.
Megan L. Schexnider was arraigned Friday.
Schexnider was indicted Thursday on two counts of vehicular homicide and one count of vehicular negligent injuring.
Authorities say Schexnider's vehicle struck a car with a flat tire.
Two people were killed - Vincent Austin, 44, who was changing the flat tire at them time, and Dalensia Rose, 13, who was in the vehicle at the time. A third victim was injured.
