The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is backing the tens of millions of dollars it's spending on ads to help Republican candidates with an extensive effort to mobilize voters. The pro-business lobbying group is launching VoteForJobs2012.com, a website designed to educate voters and get them to the polls. The site, which goes up Monday, will include voter registration forms, absentee ballots and polling place locators. It also will include information on House and Senate races. The Chamber has spent more than $19 million on advertising, much of it targeting Democrats in competitive Senate and House races. It recently bought $2 million in ad time in Florida where it has run commercials criticizing Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson. It also spent about $3 million to go after Democrats in House races in California.
