Pedestrian Dies in Iberia Parish Crash - Acadiana's Multi-Media News Station

NEW IBERIA, La. (AP) - State police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian and an 18-wheeler on US Highway 90 in Iberia Parish.

Troopers say 67-year-old Amos Johnson of New Iberia was struck by an 18-wheeler driven by 57-year-old Ray Hebert of Chauvin.

Johnson was pronounced dead Saturday night by the Iberia Parish Coroner's Office. Hebert was not injured.
