Zachary Richard Celebrates New Book at Blue Moon - Acadiana's Multi-Media News Station

A fascinating history of the Acadian culture drew many Lafayette residents to the Blue Moon Saloon on Thursday night. Zachary Richard hosted a book signing party for his recent release of Histoire des Acadiennes et des Acadiens de la Louisiane.

Intended for French immersion students, the book also is a comprehensive overview of Acadian/Cajun history and culture.

Richard says the two year project has been a long labor of love. The signing party also included music from Luke, Zach & Phillip Huval and the band Feufollet.
