Police Make 2 Arrest in Rayne Shooting - Acadiana's Multi-Media News Station

Rayne Chief of Police Carroll Stelly announced that his department has made the 2 arrest of 2 violent offenders in the deadly September 25, 2012 shooting in Rayne. The incident occurred on the 700 block of Reynolds Street around 9:30 PM Tuesday evening leaving Alfor Wheeler dead from gunshot wounds.

Rayne Detectives gathered evidence and interview witnesses to the crime and developed two suspects. The first suspect was arrested in Church Point with the assistance of the Church Point Police Department. Terrell Tmichael Lyons, B/M, Dob 11/5/1992,  3426 Lauren Street, New Orleans, La. was charged with 2^nd Degree Murder. Bond was set on Lyons at $250,000.
