UL Lafayette Students to Vote on Fee

UL Lafayette students will decide if they're willing to pay a new $7.50 per credit hour fee that will raise tuition rates by at least $200.

The University will put the issue to a vote, after the University of Louisiana System Board approved UL Lafayette's request to put the fee proposal on a ballot.

The new fee would pay for multiple projects around campus and would be implemented next semester.

Students with a minimum of 12 hours, which is considered full time, and up to a maximum of 15 hours would be required to pay the fee.

Students will vote on the proposed new credit hour fee during campus elections held October 8th and 9th.
