Looking for a chilling experience this Halloween season?
Why not take a walk on the fright trail. It's a new attraction to our area. It's a thirty five minute haunted trail throughout the woods in Scott.
The attraction known as Fright Trail is designed and run by a man whose traveled all over the United States, scaring people with his work.
But unlike most attractions all proceeds raised will go to the organization, Literacy, Inc. In turn the nonprofit group will then buy e-readers for high schools throughout Acadiana.
Their mission is to fight the growing rate of illiteracy in America's teens. Program Administrator with Literacy Inc.
Jillian Edwards says Louisiana is ranked second in the nation for illiterate children. Hopefully buying the E-readers for them will spark their interest to read more.
