Multi Media Account Executives

KLFY-TV, a CBS Affiliate, is looking for Experienced Multi-Media Account Executives selling Television, Web and Mobile advertising platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sell advertising for KLFY 10, KLFY.com, KLFY mobile, and Digital Channel Live Well Network
• Maintain and grow an existing account base
• Prospect and develop new business
• A tenacious ability to develop and maintain new business
• Strong presentation and negotiating skills
• Forward thinking with the ability to develop new sales opportunities, campaign ideas and more.
• Ability to develop successful multi-platform advertising campaigns

Education: College degree preferred

Experience Requirements:

• 3-5 years of sales experience; media preferred
• Experience selling Web and Mobile products
• Interpret qualitative research from Marshall Marketing
• Interpret quantitative data from Nielsen

 News Operations Manager

KLFY-TV 10, Acadiana`s News Leader, is looking for a News Operations Manager who can assist the newsroom in delivering compelling newscasts. The candidate must be capable of handling the fast pace of live, breaking news coverage. The position entails the coordination of news photographers, creating and maintaining professional relationships with news sources and working closely with producers on information coming into the newsroom. Other duties would include managing the weekly work schedule, special coverage schedules and maintaining and updating the daily planner. You will also be responsible for engaging with viewers via social media avenues, and keeping an account of newsroom supplies. • Strong presentation and negotiating skills.
• A strong working knowledge of the online digital field and the ability to develop successful multi-platform advertising campaigns for current and emerging digital properties.
• The ability to recognize client's needs then identify & apply digital solutions.
• Design capabilities a plus.
• Forward thinking with the ability to develop new sales opportunities, campaign ideas and more.
• Responsible for post-campaign reporting.

Education: College degree preferred

·  2+ years digital sales experience

·  Experience selling Web and Mobile products

·  Interpret qualitative research
