LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) - South Louisiana Community College has extended its registration deadline to Aug. 27 after experiencing technical problems with its online registration system.
The Advocate reports classes are still scheduled to begin Monday.
College Chancellor Natalie Harder said no late registration fees will be assessed.
Campuses are in Lafayette, New Iberia, St. Martinville, Crowley, Ville Platte, Abbeville and Opelousas.
The college also has extended its deadline for hardship waiver applications to Sept. 7. Students in degree and technical programs may apply for a hardship waiver if they cannot afford tuition costs that are not covered by their financial aid awards.
