The Franklin Police Department responded to 15 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Investigators with the Franklin Police Department Criminal Investigations Division Technology Unit, along with the assistance from the Louisiana State Police and the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office conducted a joint investigation and was able to identify and arrest ZACHARY LOUIS STEPHENS, 22, of Rays Park Road - Leesville, Louisiana. Detectives received information of illegal activity involving Stephens and an underage juvenile age (16) via the internet. Further investigation led to Stephen's arrest for the charges of:
2 Counts Indecent Behavior with Juveniles
Attempted Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles
2 Counts Computer Aided Solicitation of Minors for Sexual Purposes
Mr. Stephen was arrested by the Vernon Parish Sheriff's and was transported to the Franklin Police Department where he is being held with no bond set at time of press release to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
8/15/2012 @ 11:19 PM, QUINCY JOHNSON, 36, of Labau Street - Baldwin, LA
was arrested on a warrant dated November 25, 2011, charging him with Criminal Damage To Property. Mr. Johnson was additionally charged with Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information and Open Alcohol Container. Mr. Johnson was processed and held on a $2500.00 bond to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
