Rayne Man Killed in Lake Charles Crash - Acadiana's Multi-Media News Station

Lake Charles police say a 59-year-old Rayne man died as a result of a Saturday one-vehicle accident at the Nelson Road exit on Interstate 210. 

Allen G. Bergeron Jr., who was driving, died at a local hospital.  A female passenger, whose name was not released, was listed in serious condition. 

The crash occurred at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday. 

Authorities say the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into an overhead sign support pole.
