Acadian Culture Day took place in Vermilionville today.
The annual event is for the public to explore how the Acadian community maintains their heritage.
This year included cooking demonstrations, boat tours, artist exhibits, and crafts such as net making and quilting. Also, performances by Feufolet and the Huval-Fuselier Band.
Each year someone from the community is bestowed with the Acadian Cultural Preservation Award in recognition of outstanding contributions to the community.
