
There's been another pet food recall issued, once again due to possible Salmonella contamination in the Diamond South Carolina plant. This time around, the brand is Apex.
Although there have been no illnesses related to Apex Dog Food, and the product has not tested positive for Salmonella, Apex Pet Foods is recalling all dry dog food formulas manufactured on January 24, 2012, just in case. The food was distributed in South Carolina.

The company is working with distributors and retailers to ensure all recalled product is removed from shelves as soon as possible.
