The expected Republican nominee for President left Louisiana with a pile of campaign cash. Mitt Romney attended a fundraiser in Baton Rouge with Governor Bobby Jindal.
There was no mention as to whether Romney is prepared to make Jindal his number two. The soon to be Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney arrived at his 2-million dollar fundraiser in downtown Baton Rouge about an hour early. About 40 GOP heavyweights paid 50-thousand dollars a plate to share some beef tenderloin or gulf snapper with Romney and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal. Those attending included: ship builder Boise Bollinger - Rita Benson Leblanc - and New Orleans developer Joe Canizaro.
