Governor Bobby Jindal has been traveling out-of-state campaigning for the presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, but today Mitt Romney is visiting Baton Rouge.
Romney was in the Capital City for a fundraising luncheon at the City Club. According to the Louisiana Republican Party, the luncheon was a small private event, with a VIP guest list. Romney raised an estimated 2 million dollars at the event. The price tag to attend was set at $50,000 per person.
President Obama is expected in Louisiana on July 25th for a public event and a closed fundraiser.
